Gathering of Eagles

There is a “Gathering of Eagles”

Coming from far and wide

By buses, cars, planes, and trains

Some even hitching a ride

“The Wall” was made precious to us

By the blood of those who died

And it is cleansed daily

By all the tears we’ve cried

There is a threat to our “Wall”

But we WILL turn that tide

And let all our troops see

That we are on their side

We’ve been quiet too long

We have let things slide

But now we’re standing together

And dusting off America’s pride

Whichever way this goes

We will know we tried

There is a “Gathering of Eagles”
